ORGANIC GLUTEN-FREE PASTA

L'Abruzzese has created some unique and tasty gluten-free pasta...and it's organic, too!

We have combined the goodness of besan flour (made from chickpeas) together with rice flour and buckwheat to produce a flavoursome pasta that is high in protein and fibre.

The pasta also cooks & holds well !

Look out for our SORGHUM pasta varieties as well. Sorghum is an ancient, drought resistant and heat tolerant cereal grain. From research, sorghum may have several components that:

are high in anti-oxidants
have a positive impact on human cardiac health
can lower cholesterol.

In addition, sorghum is a GLUTEN-FREE food and is therefore safe for people with coeliac disease.

Something to note:

As Organic flours have no chemicals or nasties added to them, the smell of the grains (and hence the pasta) may be a little different from "typical" wheat / pasta.
